Called Steve this morning and was able to set up an appointment early this afternoon. Due to me living in an apartment complex that doesn't allow you to work on your cars, I was able to meet Steve at a location to get the work done. He took about thirty minutes to do the front and back brakes, enough time for me to grab a bite to eat at a local fast food chain. I would highly recommend him and will go to him in the future. Friendly, great customer service, works fast, and very reasonably priced.

Hard to believe a five star rating for auto repair service. But, there's mine. Flexible, competent, and unusually good customer service.

I live in Aldie. My friend drove from Chicago (with the brake light on), picked me up, and we are off to Ocean City for New Year's Eve. We hit the stop/go traffic on I/95 S. and when he applied the brakes, his SUV got loud and jerked. The brakes were LOUD and we were rockin and rollin instead of stopping! No wonder the light was on.Every time he hit the brakes (a lot on 96/S.) it got rough in that SUV. Finally about 30 miles or so out of DC my friend exits and guess what, there's a national brake shop in the Mall. He drives over and gets in line. About 18 minutes later the Service Tech finally came over to make his inspection. I'm thinking, that was a quick inspection...Out comes my friend with completed estimate, and looking ashen. He gets in the SUV and says, they want over $900.00! He immediately grabbed his phone and checked the Internet.He said: "Check it out, this guy says he comes to us". I said, "Call him". He did and Brake Masters asked what kind of car, and to describe what was happening when he applied the brakes. My friend said, the brakes are loud and the vehicle shakes and shimmies to a stop.The Brake Masters tech was in Fairfax at the completion of a job. He wanted to have a New' Year's Eve too. But he agreed to come out and take a look at our brakes. Brake Master's had the parts on the truck (luck maybe?) and the tech, smiling, made the repairs and had us on our way. It was a little over 2.5 hours after we called Brake Masters we had new parts, professional brake service, and the tech displayed a lot of empathy for our situation. My friend and I highly appreciate Brake Masters service and recommend this company highly. Ohh, and the final Brake Masters invoice was about $200 less than the national company's estimate. Great job Brake Masters!

When I called and told my mom, "I had The Brake Squad come out to my house and replace my brakes," her response was, "Only you would research and find someone to work on your car the same day you called them, while you patiently waited inside, not exposing yourself to the elements." Yup. That's me. It was cold and I wasn't really feeling wasting a whole day in a dirty waiting room somewhere while they took 2+ hours to do my brakes. My Honda CRV's brakes were making noise, so I knew I had to get them replaced ASAP. Of course, I got on Yelp somewhere around 11 AM and found The Brake Squad. I called and could not have gotten a nicer person on the phone. Joe explained that they use ceramic brakes and what the difference between ceramic and metal brakes was. I asked him if I could get them to come out that day, and I was surprised when he said they could. My appointment was going to be at 4. Well, it was about 2:45 and my husband and I were out and about, something like 10 minutes from home. I got a call from Alex saying that he was running ahead of schedule and that he wanted to come early, if he could. Well of course! Alex arrived at my house in 20 minutes and got to work. I was afraid I'd need rotors (EXPENSIVE!!!!!) because every time I have ever gotten my brakes done, they always tell me I need rotors too. Alex was honest and told me I didn't need new rotors, but it would help to resurface them, which was way cheaper ($30). He also checked my back brakes and said I had about 4 months til I needed new ones and that I would need rotors at that time as well. It's nice to know something like that in advance, because that's a considerable cost. Alex had my vehicle done in 30 minutes. He was fast and friendly and honest. I'll be calling them to do my back brakes when the time comes for that.

Steve from Brake Masters did a phenomenal job on my vehicle. I called him in the evening on Friday and on Saturday morning he was at my home replacing my brakes! In 40 minutes Steve managed to change out my brake pads, rotors, and service my rear drum brakes. You won't get that type of lighting service anywhere! The price he quoted me for the job was also very fair. I would recommend Steve and Brake Masters to anyone hands down!

Great prices and honest business. Called Steve on a Sunday and scheduled service for that Monday. I sent him photos of my rear rotors and he said I just needed rear pads. I'll recommend the company to my friends. He did a clean, professional, and quick job.

Last November I had the brakes repaired on my 2008 Hyundai Sonata by Brake Masters. From start to finish I was so impressed by this company’s service and professional standards. Steve came to my office in Chantilly to replace my vehicle’s brake pads that saved me hours of potential wasted time in a service shop. Furthermore, the price was unbelievably reasonable in comparison to another estimate I received from a local service shop who claimed that I needed new rotors in addition to pads. Steve took the time to show me that my rotors were in fact, in good condition, and he assured me that I only needed to replace the pads. Fast-forward several months to today and I am so pleased with how well my brakes perform. I have had no issues since the repair and I’m thankful that I didn’t waste money on new rotors that I didn’t need. Thanks so much to Steve for his honesty and excellent customer service!

I found Brake Masters while searching for repair shops to get quotes for front and rear brakes as well as rotors. I happened to find Brake Masters on Google and was intrigued right away. I never heard of a mobile brake service before! When I started reading all the great reviews, I knew I had to call and get more information.

I called on a Saturday morning (2 weeks ago) and spoke with Steve, he is the owner of Brake Masters. Not only was Steve extremely nice, he was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to explain to me the difference about the parts he uses compared to other shops in the area. BTW, he uses OEM parts! He also explained why my rotors would need to be replaced. He took my information and on the phone was able to give me a quote. Let me say I was VERY surprised and happy with the quote. The dealership (I have an 2010 Honda Accord Coupe) wanted almost $1,000!! Then other shops were still very expensive. Steve's quote was affordable compared to the other quotes I received. Not only that, he was able to come to my house the same day I called. 🙂 Once he arrived and I moved the car to a better spot for him, he had put on the new brakes (front and back) and rotors in 30 minutes!!! I was amazed.

Steve is very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt very comfortable with him on the phone and in person. He has GREAT customer service and just for that, I would suggest you give him a call. It is hard to find people (especially in the car repair business) who are trustworthy, can explain things in laymen terms, and offer great customer service. THANK YOU STEVE for a great experience. 🙂

I would definitely recommend Break Masters to anyone. I have called Steve twice for my car and he is very convenient, and will have your brakes done in no time. I had my breaks done on my lunch break!! Steve also is very helpful and any questions I had for him he was always just a text message away. Steve did an excellent job on my car. His prices are very competitive and very likely less than what one of the big shops will want to charge you. He explained everything he was doing & explained the difference between the high-end parts he uses vs. the usual. He seemed to know exactly what he was talking about and didn't talk in circles!
